These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GuardianPath DC, operated by A Washington Ventures LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
GuardianPath DC provides a web and mobile platform for District of Columbia security professionals, offering security license training courses, license renewal tracking, certificate management, exam preparation, and business compliance tools for security companies operating in DC.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@guardianpathdc.com.
Individual Plans: Monthly and annual subscription plans are available for individual security officers. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Business Plans: Enterprise plans are available for security companies and include team management, license tracking, and compliance reporting features.
Billing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Refunds: We offer a pro-rated refund within 7 days of your initial subscription. Renewals are non-refundable. Contact support for assistance.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Our training content is designed to help security professionals meet DC licensing requirements. However, GuardianPath DC does not guarantee that completion of our courses will ensure license approval by the DC Security Officers Management Branch (SOMB) or any other regulatory body.
Digital certificates issued through our platform serve as records of course completion on our platform only. Official license certification must be obtained through the appropriate DC regulatory authorities.
All content on the GuardianPath DC platform, including training materials, course content, software, logos, and designs, is the property of A Washington Ventures LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Business account administrators are responsible for managing their team members' access, ensuring accurate license information, and maintaining compliance with applicable DC laws. The business account holder is responsible for all activity under team member accounts they administer.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRAINING CONTENT IS CURRENT WITH ALL REGULATORY CHANGES. USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A WASHINGTON VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF LICENSE, EMPLOYMENT, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to training materials will cease at the end of your current billing period.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the District of Columbia.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
